Akinbiyi Abiola Ahmed, also known as Bella Shmurda, a popular Nigerian singer, has shed more light on how his colleague, Mohbad, attempted suicide due to a dispute with his former record label, Marlian Music.

Recall that Mohbad accused his former record label owner, Naira Marley, of ordering his boys to beat him on social media last year.


After the incident, he departed the record label shortly thereafter.


Bella Shmurda revealed to prominent media personality Chude Jideonwo that Mohbad attempted suicide during his ordeal but was prevented by his friends.


He stated, "There was a time when I was in an apartment with Mohbad, and he was so frustrated with his record label that he wished to jump from the second floor. He was detained by the window. Mohbad was seated at the window when his girlfriend entered the room and saw him.


Before Mohbad was able to resolve his issues with his former record label, according to Bella Shmurda, he underwent therapy and hypertension treatment in a hospital.
