| Chef Dammy receives N1 million from an entrepreneur |
Damilola Adeparusi, also known as Chef Dammy, is the newest entrepreneur in town after receiving a one million naira check from a Nigerian businessman named Komiyo Lawrence Adefemi.
The businessman has now fulfilled his promise to give the chef from Ekiti N1 million after viewing a viral video of her purchasing roasted maize on the side of the road.
A few days ago, in response to the video, he wrote, "Tag her; let me send her a direct message. 1 million for her. At least, una go fit stay shut."
The businessman has, however, maintained his word and presented the young chef with a $1,000,000 check.
While sharing photographs of the presentation of the check to the chef, the businessman praised her for attempting to break the Guinness World Record for the longest amount of time spent preparing.

In addition, he urged social media users to refrain from criticizing the young chef and instead encourage her to pursue her ambition.
He wrote, “We all need motivation after chastising and reprimanding. Congratulations Chef Dammy, at least she made an attempt.”
However, social media users and fans of the chef inundated the post's comments section with praise for the businessman's kind gesture.
A few weeks earlier, the 22-year-old chef completed a 120-hour culinary marathon in an attempt to dethrone another Nigerian chef, Hilda Baci, as the holder of the Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon by an individual. However, the endeavor was not recognized because it was not registered with Guinness World Records.
