David Adeleke, professionally known as Davido, a renowned Nigerian singer, has announced a price change for artists requesting his collaboration on their songs.

Davido, the "Away" singer, revealed that he now charges $100,000 (N46 million) plus a music video to be featured by international artists.

On the Bootleg Kev program, where they were discussing the global expansion of Afrobeats, the singer made this information public.

According to Davido, he is no longer featuring international artists for free; instead, he is now charging.

As anticipated, the video elicited a variety of responses from netizens. While some praised Davido for his latest decision, claiming that unrestricted access to him will be reduced because he won't be taken for granted, others pointed out that, given his status in the music industry, he ought to charge more.
