Nigerian man selected by Japanese Billionaire for a trip to the moon

Yemi, a Nigerian guy, was chosen by Japanese business magnate Yusaku Maezawa to travel to the moon.
Yemi Akinyemi Dele, a 41-year-old Czech choreographer, will be one of the eight crew members traveling with Japanese entrepreneur Yusaku Maezawa next year on one of Elon Musk's SpaceX rockets.
Japanese entrepreneur Yusaku Maezawa has identified the eight people he wants to go with him on the around-the-moon journey he announced four years prior on SpaceX's Starship spacecraft.
Maezawa pledged funding for a mission in 2018 to enable creatives on par with the late Pablo Picasso or Michael Jackson to travel beyond Earth orbit. Some of the individuals he chose are utilizing creative avenues that weren't available when Picasso was in his prime.

The eight crew members — and two alternates — were chosen out of more than a million people from 249 countries and regions who registered their interest via Maezawa’s DearMoon website.
