Paul Okoye of PSquare, a Nigerian Afropop singer, has said that he remained single for four years after his divorce from Anita.

Paul, also known as Rudeboy, stated that his marriage ended a long time ago but that many people were unaware because he kept it hidden.

He revealed that he was unmarried for four years following his divorce before meeting his partner, Ivy Ifeoma.

Over a week ago, it was reported that Paul and Anita had finalized their divorce after an Abuja High Court in Maitama approved their request to annul their marriage.

During an Instagram live session, Paul Okoye begged those who were criticizing him and Ivy to be patient because they were not dating while he was still married.

He also hinted of his intention to marry her, as he posed a rhetorical question to fans after which he said he would send a wedding invite to the public.
