Banky W denies online claims that he signed Whitemoney to Empire Mates Entertainment in a video.
In a recent interview with Hot FM Lagos, he dismissed the accusations, making it plain that he did not sign the reality TV star.

The singer stated that EME shifted from a record label to a media and marketing organization in 2017. He said that he had just helped Whitemoney get a position as an ambassador for a company that it advises.
Banky made it clear that the agreement was only for an influencer campaign for one of EME's corporate clients.
A few weeks ago, there were rumors that Whitemoney had been signed to Banky W's EME record label because of a tweet that Whitemoney had sent out.
The ambiguity of the caption is what led many individuals to believe that the artist had been signed to the record company.
"Now that we are in good hands, let the music flow. EGWU & YOU BAD drops: 23/09/22 Are You Ready???", he wrote on Twitter.
