Nkechi Blessing shades ex, says he visited Ekiti State with rented cars
Since their bitter divorce earlier this year, Blessing and her ex have been at loggerheads with each other.
Nkechi Blessing, a popular actress in Nigeria, has spoken ill of Opeyemi Falegan, a man she dated in the past.
The actress recently called him out in a scathing Instagram Story for renting cars to get to a political rally in his home state.
"Over the weekend, real politicians stormed Ekiti with their own cars and CTU—not rented cars and escorts. Ewo," she wrote.
Blessing's tweet follows the messy breakup of her most recent romance. You may remember that Blessing and Opeyemi Falegan announced the end of their marriage on their respective Instagram pages in April of 2022.
The actress explained the couple's breakup rationale. Nkechi claims her now-defunct husband had selfish motives for wanting to exploit her fame.
She said the actress didn't like how he had become known for always pleading for money to support his foundation.
She further shared that Falegan was an unemployed man who would often go months without leaving the house.
If you ask Falegan, Blessing only stayed with him because of the money and sex opportunities.
The congressman continued by saying the actress had poor personal hygiene.
"I apologised to her because I want bygones to be bygones, not because I want her back," he explained. "Are you serious? Do you know why I left? I left for a different reason: personal hygiene."
"You have to tell a woman to change her pants in three days. You have to tell a woman to brush her teeth in the morning. After the whole thing, everywhere is messed up. You want me to manage that? No, I wouldn't."
Just hours before, he had publicly apologized to the actress for how their relationship had ended.
