'I struggled with depression and found comfort in food' - BBNaija's Uriel
This is not the first time the reality TV personality will discuss her battle with melancholy and weight reduction.
A former housemate on Big Brother Naija, Uriel Oputa, said that food helped her feel better when she was depressed.
On Thursday, September 22, 2022, the reality television starlet announced this on Instagram.
"I was an emotional eater. I struggled with depression (and am still dealing with it) and found comfort in food. "I did not comprehend the meaning of full," she wrote.

"I knew I felt uncomfortable, but I didn’t care. When someone requests my assistance, the first question I ask is, "Are you mentally ready?" It is a difficult war, but you will prevail."
This is not the first time the reality TV personality will discuss her battle with melancholy and weight reduction.
In March, Uriel disclosed that her ex-boyfriend body-shamed her during their relationship.
"I remember my ex saying my legs weren't fine because I had a scar.
He made me feel so awful. I lost confidence. "Now, people are calling my legs gorgeous," she wrote.

The reality television star is notorious for constantly preaching the gospel of body positivity.

"Not every snap bk is natural; kindly take a bk seat and let her work through this sensitive period if you can't afford a lipo, a fitness trainer, or a personal chef."
