Mr. and Mrs. Ndubueze, welcomed their daughter BBNaija Chomzy in the year 2000. Her family gave her the name Esther Chioma Ndubueze, which was originally given to her by the elder Ndubuezes.
Her family is a devout Christian. Her first name, Chioma, translates to "God is Good," while her surname, Ndubueze, means "Life is King" in English. Her parents instilled in her a strong Catholic faith. Chomzy spent his entire life in the city of Owerri in the Nigerian state of Imo.
BBNaija Chomzy was born and raised in Nigeria's southeastern area. Her family originally hails from Avutu, which is located in the Obowo Local Government Area of Imo State. She is also fluent in the Igbo language.
